Since the expiration of the SAG contract this past June, we have all been fearing there won't be enough acting jobs coming up.
Well, we have good news for you!....According to an article we read last week on Variety, studios are preparing to put 40 or more films into production between spring and summer. You're probably thinking now...how is this possible with all the economic issues the country is going through?....well, according to studio executives, that money has already been secured and budgeted.
As we all know, all actors are itching to get back to work and we're hopeful that a strike won't disrupt film stars. Studios will protect themselves to some extent by waiting until March to start most of their films, that way there is some time for this issue to clear.
In the meantime, we suggest that all our young actors get ready for the next set of productions by continuing their training. Remember, the most you practice, the better you get, and the better opportunity you have when competing for acting roles.
Keep up the good work!
